Stuffed toys are so warm and cute that having one is like having a cute little friend for yourself at any age. Teddy bears are probably the most popular when we talk of stuffed toys and there is one such toy all of u must have owned at some point in our lives may teenage especially the girls. Teddy bears are associated with love and warmth and sweetness and most of the time it is a gift you get either from your loved one who is the someone special or a friend or family member. Owning a teddy bear is a joy and they are soft, stuffed with cotton and made out of sill or felt cloth and come in different beautiful colors and sizes.
A Teddy is a perfect gift for birthdays, Christmas, festivals or any special moment you want to share with another individual. Did you know how the Teddy Bear got its name? Well the records say that Theodore Roosevelt who was the 26th President of United States of America was nick named as “Teddy” due to an incident that occured in one of his hunting excursions. Apparently he was in Missisipi to settle some political border issues and went for a bear hunt where he saw a wounder bear and asked his guards to kill the bear and relieve him of the misery of pain. This incident alongwith the border settlement made news in cartoons and newspapers and became famous. The bear which is actually such a ferocious animal and can rip the life apart from any small or big living thing started to be projected as a cute little cuddling toy and selling like hot cakes in the USA.
Slowly the concept caught on in other countries as well and now teddy bears are a very common girt article and for some people a hobby of collection. You can get one in any gift store or bookshop or order online. Even greeting cards come with images of these sweet little bears to add that innocence. Teddy bear miniatures are used for decoration purposes as well. There are various toy shops and people who make these stuffed animal toys but on thing they have to keep in mind is the material and items they use to create the teddy. Since small children and infants also hav the fascination for these bears, the materials like eyes, nose and mouth shoud be used of soft plastic or prefereably stuffed material itself and should me tightly placed into the toy to prevent any choking hazards.
Owning a teddy bear is like owning your first bicycle and it has to be special. It is a special feeling of belonging to your teddy which some people even hug and sleep because its cozy. If you never got a teddy bear as a gift ever from anybody then make it a part of your wish list or just buy one for yourself as per your choice. Treasuring such small things brings back joy at times of sadness and when you look at a teddy your love, or friend ever gifted ater ages or years go by..the joyto reocunt few memories becomes all the more magical.
